In Tulamben on Bali’s north-east coast, close to Amed, The Tribe welcomes divers, travellers and local visitors from breakfast to dinner. Balinese and Indonesian cuisine, European favourites, grilled dishes, vegetarian options, a bar, pool and garden come together in a premium yet relaxed setting.

From Bali to the flavors of the archipelago
At The Tribe, the culinary journey begins in Bali and continues across the Indonesian archipelago.
Our menu explores the flavours of Java, Lombok, Sulawesi, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Maluku through dishes such as rendang, ayam betutu, gado-gado, plecing kangkung and fragrant curries made with coconut milk, herbs and spices.
Everything is prepared on site with fresh ingredients. Alongside these regional recipes, we serve European favourites, grilled meats, barbecue chicken, pasta, salads and dishes made for sharing.
Vegetarian guests will find a broad choice built around tempeh, tofu, vegetables, curries, gado-gado and regional meat-free specialities. Younger guests also have their own selection.

Sumatran rendang, Lombok ayam Taliwang, Sulawesi ayam woku and recipes from Java, Kalimantan and Maluku.

Settle in by the pool, in the garden or on one of our terraces, order a draught beer or cocktail, and return to the buffet at your own pace.

Enjoy them on a sun bed by the pool, in the garden or on one of our terraces after a dive or as the evening begins.
