A day of reefs, drift dives and open seascapes

This excursion offers a different atmosphere from the local dives around Tulamben. Around Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan, reefs and underwater landscapes unfold in more open water, with cooler temperatures, possible currents and the chance to encounter pelagic life. The program and sites are selected according to the day’s conditions.

AN ICONIC ENCOUNTER

In search of manta rays

Nusa Penida is known for areas visited by manta rays. This encounter is entirely natural and depends on conditions, the season, animal behaviour and the sites selected that day. We look for them in their natural environment without ever promising their presence.

Manta Point

A cleaning station along a cliff where manta rays regularly come to be cleaned and can gather in numbers. An iconic dive between 9 and 20 metres, offering the chance to observe these giants in their natural environment.

Crystal Bay

A beautiful bay surrounding a rocky pinnacle, with particularly rich marine life. Mola mola, turtles and sharks may be encountered while exploring a spectacular drop-off covered in life.

SD

A drift dive along Nusa Penida above a beautiful coral drop-off. Large schools of fish, turtles and rarer macro life make this site particularly interesting for divers who enjoy searching for smaller creatures.

Your day begins with breakfast at The Tribe, right here at Scuba Tribe Bali. Take time to ease into the morning before setting off on the day’s adventure.

Heading to Padangbai
After breakfast, everything is ready for departure. We drive from Scuba Tribe to Padangbai, where we meet the boat taking us to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan.

From Padangbai, we board the boat and head to the dive sites around Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan.
3 DIVES IN NUSA PENIDA
Three dives, three different experiences
The day always includes three dives, with a program designed to show you different sides of Nusa Penida.
1Manta Point
A first dive in search of manta rays in their natural environment.
2Crystal Bay
A second dive with a different underwater atmosphere around Nusa Penida.
3SD
A third dive along the reefs of Nusa Penida’s north coast.
If there are few or no manta rays during the first dive at Manta Point, we can adapt the program with a second manta dive before finishing the day at SD. The day still includes three dives.
BACK TO TULAMBEN
Back to Scuba Tribe
After the three dives, we return by boat to Padangbai, have lunch at a restaurant and then drive back to Tulamben and Scuba Tribe.
